7. Operation
The lighting is switched on/off automatically (depending
on movement and the daylight value). It can be manu
-
ally operated using a button on the device. It activates
the continuous light function. The relay inset can also
be switched from a remote station.
7.1 Manual operation
The button on the motion sensor can be used to ac
-
tivate the continuous light function. When activated, a
LED is lit in the motion sensor’s lens. The lighting is
then switched on for 2 hours. Subsequently the device
returns to automatic operation. Pressing the button
during continuous light operation returns the device to
automatic operation.
7.2 Remote station operation (relay inset)
An external button on the remote station input E1 on the
relay inset performs the following functions:

8.1 New system or existing system
• Check circuit breaker and voltage supply
(qualifiedelectrician only).
• Check connected electrical loads and connection
cables (qualified electrician only).
• Ensure sufficient clearance (min. 1 m) between the
lighting and the motion sensor.
• Draughts can cause false activations.
