TCP Overview window
Transmission control protocol (TCP) fits in the Transport layer (layer 4) of the OSI model, above the Internet
Protocol (IP). It is among the most widely used protocols in the TCP/IP suite. The T-DAC TCP subsystem
provides management information in the form of TCP parameters and operating statistics. Managing the TCP
subsystem involves monitoring the TCP parameters and statistics.
