Changing Switch Position, Lockout State, Operating
Mode, Fallback Time, Fallback Member, and Group
To change the position of a channel, click on the radio button “A” or “B”,
as desired. Locking and unlocking the front panel pushbuttons can be
done by clicking on the “Locked” or “Unlocked” radio buttons. The
operating mode can be switched between Automatic, and Manual
mode.
When set to Manual Mode, position changes are completed by
pushbutton, or GUI, only.
•
In Automatic Mode, the next two settings affect the channels
behavior.
o
In Leader Mode the channel will monitor channel A for
an active signal, and once the signal is lost for the
selected fallback time the switch will fall from position
A to position B. When in position B, the switch will no
longer monitor status, and must be switched back
manually via pushbutton or GUI.
o
In Follower State, the channel will not actively switch
on its own, but will wait for another channel in its
group (Leader Mode) to initiate a switch.
•
Channels can be added or removed to groups using the group
dropdown. See Figure 16.
