3.9.5 SNMP Configuration
The SNMP gives users independence from the proprietary network management
schemes of some manufacturers. SNMP is supported by many WAN and LAN
manufacturers enabling true LAN/ WAN management integration.
To set the SNMP function, move the cursor to the main menu and click on
SNMP Configuration . The RAID System SNMP Function menu will show all
items. Select the desired function.
SNMP Trap Configurations: Type the SNMP Trap IP Address. The Port de-
fault is 162.
SNMP System Configuration:
Community: The default is Public.
(1)sysContact.0; (2)sysLocation.0; (3)sysName.0: SNMP parameter (31 bytes
