Configuring
The SurfRAID TRITON Mini has a setup configuration utility containing impor-
tant information about the configuration as well as settings for various op-
tional functions. This chapter explains how to use and make changes to the
setup utility.
Configuration Methods
There are three methods of configuring the SurfRAID TRITON Mini.
• VT100 terminal connected through the controller’s serial port
• Front panel touch-control keypad
• Web browser-based Remote RAID management via the R-Link ethernet
port
Important:
The SurfRAID TRITON Mini allows you to access the utility using only
one method at a time.
3.1 Configuring through a Terminal
Configuring through a terminal will allow you to use the same configuration
options and functions that are available from the LCD panel. To start-up:
