2. Position the drone in the green area indicated in the diagram below:
Calibration can only be performed in the green zone. If the calibration is launched in
an area outside of the green zone, a diagram displays. When the drone passes
through an area in which calibration is possible,
FreeFlight 6 automatically returns to
the CoT calibration screen.
1. Aim at your Skycontroller USA accurately with or without zooming depending on
the distance. Aiming accuracy directly influences the accuracy of the CoT
measurements.
2. Validate the calibration by pressing the media button as indicated on the pop-up.
Note : No media will be recorded or saved
Calibration is complete.
In case of a bad calibration (for example, if you aimed incorrectly), you can restart the
calibration at any time.
The drone cannot detect a bad calibration, so it is important to aim the Skycontroller
USA correctly. The accuracy indicator will not consider the aiming error since it
considers the calibration to be correct.
Calibration is valid for the entire flight.
Tip : We recommend that you perform the calibration each time after the drone is
stored. It is not necessary to calibrate every time the battery is changed (although it is
preferable and provides a better value for the precision estimation of the
coordinates).
