Locking the Controls
You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use ( for e x ample children accidentally turning the
cooking z ones on ) .
When this func � on is ac � vated , all controls e x cept the ON/OFF control are disabled.
To lock the controls
1. Touch and hold the keylock symbol and the � mer indicator display will show “Lo”
To unlock the controls
1. M ake sure the hob is turned on.
2. Touch and hold the keylock control to unlock the hob control panel. “Lo will
disappear from the display.
3. The hob is now unlocked , and you can now start using it.
When the hob is in lock mode , all controls are disabled e x cept the ON/OFF control. In an
emergency , you can turn the induc � on hob o ff with the ON/OFF bu � on , but you will have
to unlock the hob fi rst before the ne x t use.
Using the Timer
You can use the � mer to turn one or more cooking z ones o ff a � er a set amount of � me.
Note: The � mer can be set for up to 99 minutes for each cooking z one.
The � mer will begin to count down immediately a � er being set.
Se � ng the � mer to turn one hea � ng zone o ff
1. For the HX-2-6NF-INDUCT and HX-2-2NF-INDUCT, touch the hea�ng zone control that
you want to set the �mer for.
For HX-2-9NF-INDUCT touch “-”or “+” below hea�ng zone symbols, that
you want to set the �mer for.
2. Select the heat level using the “ - “ or “+” regula � ng controls
3. Touch the � mer control , the display will show “ 30”
