Before using your Ceramic Hob

Read this guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety Warnings’ sec ti on.

Remove any protec ti ve fil m that may s till be on your ceramic hob.
Note: you may no
ti ce a li tt le smoke when you turn the hob on for the fi rst ti me. The smoke is due
to the manufacturing residues le ft on the hob.
Choosing the right Cookware
Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.
Make sure that the base of your pan is smooth, sits fl at against the glass, and is the same size as the
cooking zone. Always centre your pan on the cooking zone.
Always li ft pans o ff the ceramic hob – do not slide, as they may scratch the glass.
