Locking the Controls
You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use (for ex am ple children accidentally turning the
cooking zones on).
When this function is ac
ti vated, all controls except the ON/OFF control are disabled.
To lock the controls
1. Touch and hold the keylock s ym bol to lock the hob control panel.
To unlock the controls
1. Make sure the ce ram ic hob is turned on.
2. Touch and hold the keylock control to unlock the hob control panel.
3. The hob is now unlocked, and you can now start using it.
When the hob is in loc k m ode, all controls are disabled except the ON/OFF control. In an
e m ergency, you can turn the cer amic hob o ff with the ON/OFF bu tt on, but you will have
to unlock the hob fi rst before the next use.
Using the Timer
You can use the tim er to turn one o r m ore cooking zones o ff a ft er a se t am ount o f time .
Note:
The tim er can be set for up to 99 mi nutes for each cooking zone.
Se tti ng the ti mer to turn one he ating z one o ff
1. Touch the hea ti ng zone selec ti on control corresponding to the zone that you want to set
the tim er for.

Select the heat level using the “-“ or “+” regula ti ng controls
3. Touch the tim er control
4. Set the tim e by touching the “-“ or “+” regula ti ng controls. Ti m e will change in
incre m ents of 1 m inute.
If the se tti ng tim e exceeds 99 m inutes, the tim er will auto mati cally return to 0 mi nutes.
