Software Components

There are two types of PowerStations in this series: XPR and XPC.

•

The XPR comes with a Windows CE 5.0 operating system and is 
bundled with Parker’s Interact Xpress software. 

•

The XPC comes with a Windows CE 5.0 or Windows XP operating 
system and does not include the Interact Xpress software. 

Each PowerStation is shipped with a utilities CD containing drivers and 

backup copies of available software. 

Downloading Applications and Projects on an XPR PowerStation

The XP PowerStation is a runtime-only system, which means that you must 

develop your applications and projects on a development PC and download 

the application to the PowerStation.

Note

Throughout this manual, all references to “development PC” or 

“development system” refer to the laptop or computer you use to 

develop applications.

See the documentation that came with your development software, such 

as Interact Xpress, for information about how to develop your applications 

or projects and download them to the PowerStation.
