General maintenance notes 

 

 

Before carrying out any installation work make sure that the carriage cannot 

move. Therefore, de-energize the respective drive or the complete system In 

vertical applications, the carriages of the linear axes are secured against 

displacement. Secure the drives or the entire system against being switched on 

again. 

 

 

 

 

Please observe the general safety instructions (see page 8) and chapter specific 

safety instructions. 

 

 

 

 

The linear actuator guidance system is susceptible to dirt and foreign particles. 

During maintenance work please take care that no dirt or foreign particles enter 

the guidance system and may deposit there.
