UPS CONFIGURATION
After the installation and configuration of the additional hardware as well as the on
board components in one units the procedure must be performed for every unit which
shall belong the paralleled system. Each single unit of the parallel-system must be
configured in terms of software by using the “EEPROM-Manager”.
4.5 1 Ups configuration parallel redundancy
Connect a PC on which the UPS analizer “EEPROM-Manager” is running to the
RS232 or USB-Interface of the UPS
Turn- On in Service position the service switch
Start
the
software
Select the suitable serial-interface. In case of mismatching interface an error-
message will appear.
Set the following entries to the required values:
Flag- Parallel:
Enable
Type parallel:
from this window it is possible to choose the parallel
configuration to be desired:
- Redundancy Parallel N-1/N
- Power Parallel
- Auto parallel (the number of Inverter necessary to supply the load
change dynamically with the load.
UPS Parallel Index:
1...6 (Each unit has a unique number in the parallel-
system starting with “1”)
UPS Parallel Number:
2...6 (Total number of units in the parallel-system, the
same number must be set in all involved units)
Enalloor:
enable or disable = alarm redundant
Dly_Bosu:
generally this parameter is set for Diesel application:
1 second for UPS 1
30 seconds for UPS 2
60 seconds for UPS 3
Etc etc
RIT_CRID:
time for change from parallel redundant to power parallel or vice
versa in accord with the load power (active only in the Auto parallel).
