A set of diagnostic and configuration management tools for a data communication
network, consisting of software programs and dedicated computer hardware.
Plain Old Telephone Service.
Rate Adaptive Digital Subscriber Line (RADSL) mode. It automatically measures
performance during initialization and optimizes the data rates for each modem port in the
chassis.
Remote Termination Unit. A DSL device that is installed at the customer premise. This
device works with the HotWire 8800 DSLAM to provide lightning-speed Internet or
corporate LAN access.
Simple Network Management Protocol.
The rate at which data flows from the Remote Termination Units (RTUs) to the central
office platform RADSL port.
