User Interface Screens

User Interface Access

You can access the menu-driven user interface:

Locally through a direct connection to the Terminal port from an async
terminal (or other VT100-compatible terminal ) or PC emulation.

Remotely through a Telnet session.

Main Menu

Entry to all of the DSU’s tasks begins at the Main Menu screen, which has four
menus or branches.

View diagnostic tests, network status of interfaces, statistics, LEDs, and
DSU identity information.

Test

Select and cancel tests for the DSU’s interfaces.

Configuration Display and edit the configuration options.
