Move the hour hand (B) so that it coincides with that of the second time
zone (E) . Then return it to position 2 to complete setting the time.
3. Set the correct time. Use the hand (F) to check that the time is correctly set
to before midday or after it. If, for example, it is 3 o’clock in the afternoon,
check that the hand
(F) is in the left part of the small seconds dial.
4. Push back the winding crown (A) to the initial position (0) and screw it down
again.

HE SECONDS RESET DEVICE
The small continuous seconds dial (D) is located at 9 o’clock. When the
winding crown (A) is unscrewed and pulled out to the second click (position
2) the small seconds hand is immediately moved to zero. The seconds reset
device provides an extremely precise way of synchronising the watch with the
time source being used as a reference.
Note: At the moment that the seconds reset device comes into operation the
seconds hand is zeroed and the balance is stopped. If the crown should
inadvertently be pulled out to
position 2 for a long time, the precise setting of
the time must be carried out again.

ETTING THE DATE
Your watch has a gradual date change mechanism, a process which takes
about 3 hours to complete: from 10 p.m. to 1.00 a.m., with a margin of ± 30
minutes. This particular method of changing the date is inspired by the
mechanical tradition of Swiss watchmaking and it allows the date to be
changed in both directions, moving it either forwards or backwards. To set the
date indicated, proceed as follows:
1. Unscrew the winding crown
(A) and pull it out to the first click (position 1) .
Turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise until the correct date appears in the date
window located at 3 o’clock. If the date changes when the hour hand

INDING THE WATCH
The Panerai Radiomir 10 Days GMT Platino watch has an automatic
mechanical movement with a 10-day power reserve shown by the linear
indicator
(G) on the dial. If the watch is stopped for a long time, it is
recommended that it be rewound with a few clockwise turns of the winding
crown
(A) in the initial position (position 0) after it has been unscrewed.

ETTING THE TIME
1. Unscrew the winding crown (A) and pull it out to the second click (position
2) .
2. Check that the local hour hand (B) is superimposed over the second time
zone hand (E) . If it is not, push the winding crown back to the first click
(position 1) . In this position the hour hand (B) moves in steps of one hour.
