GMT PLATINO WATCH
The Panerai Radiomir 10 Days GMT Platino is a unique numbered edition of
100 units. It has all the salient characteristics of the Radiomir, the most classic
of Officine Panerai models, designed and constructed for military use three-
quarters of a century ago. Further to all the technical characteristics of the
original, this model has two time zones, date, 10-day power reserve and
above all, a high-end movement entirely designed and built in-house by
Officine Panerai in Neuchâtel.

HE CASE
The Panerai Radiomir 10 Days GMT Platino watch has a case of 45 mm. It has
the characteristic cushion form, typical of Panerai, and it is made of platinum.
In its construction, Panerai has made use of manufacturing techniques
involving many complex operations which ensure a remarkable aesthetic finish
and at the same time great resistance in terms of water- and shock-resistance.
The screw-down crown is conical in shape and personalised Panerai. The
crystal is of sapphire, obtained from corundum, a very hard material (second
only to diamond), free of impurities, transparent, resistant to abrasion, and
with anti-reflective treatment. The screw back is in sapphire and enables the
movement and its haute horlogerie finish to be admired. On the back of the
case are engraved the case number, the sequential number of the watch with
the number of the production, the material and the maximum depth of use.
The water-resistance of your watch, indicated on the back by the symbol
, is guaranteed to a pressure of 5 bar which corresponds to the
hydrostatic pressure exerted by a column of water on 1 square centimetre at
a depth of 50 metres under normal conditions. In these circumstances your
watch is therefore water-resistant to a depth of about 50 metres.

HE DIAL
The black dial is the Panerai sandwich type, consisting of two superimposed
plates, the upper one perforated with the 12 and 6 numerals and the hour
markers, while the lower one covered with a layer of luminous substance.
Other numerals consist of applied metal hour markers.
In order to ensure optimal levels of luminescence and greater resistance over
time, Panerai uses exclusively “Grade A” Swiss Super-LumiNova
® . To produce
this luminous substance, special high-performance pigments are used. This
allows an increase in the duration of the readability of approximately 35%
compared to standard Super-LumiNova
® .
Small seconds at 9 o’clock, date at 3 o’clock, second time zone indicated by
the central hand and by the small 24-hour indicator at 9 o’clock, linear power
reserve at 6 o’clock.

HE LEATHER STRAP
The alligator strap is made from selected skins using the central part of the
animal where the smoothest and most evenly shaped scales are found. It is
closed by an adjustable buckle in polished white gold, personalised Panerai.

HE MOVEMENT
Automatic mechanical, Panerai calibre P.2003, executed entirely by Panerai,
diameter 13¾ lignes (31mm), thickness 8 mm, 25 jewels, Glucydur
® balance,
power reserve 10 days, 3 barrels in series, 28,800 alternations/hour (4 Hz), KIF
Parechoc
® anti-shock device, 296 components.
