• Never push on the push-piece at 8 o’ clock to start the chime when the
watch is under water.
• After setting the second time zone
(position 1)

NOTE: Every timepiece is shown to never sound exactly like another. Even the
same watch reference in the same metal case will have its own sound
signature. When the watch is to be serviced, Officine Panerai expert
watchmakers will work to reproduce the sound as faithful as possible to the
original one.

EPLACING THE STRAP AND THE BUCKLE
The replacement of the strap and the buckle of your watch must be carried out
by an Authorized Distributor or a Panerai Service Centre, in order to avoid any
problems caused by incorrect replacement.

To make the chime sound for the Local Time, the user must first align the black dot
on the winding crown at 3 o’clock as shown in the picture above and then press on
the push-button at 3 o’clock. The red dot of the HT-LT indicator will move to the LT
position.
It’s important to misalign the black dot to set the piece in “security”
before pressing the push-piece at 8 o’clock. On starting the chime by pressing on
the push-piece at 8 o’clock the watch in the photograph will chime 10:09.

RECAUTIONS FOR USE
• Always finish setting the time in a clockwise direction (15 minutes).
• After choosing between Home Time and Local Time, secure the crown by
misaligning the black dot.
• Always wait at least 15 seconds once the chime has stopped before using
any function or setting.
• While operating the chime, the push-piece must be completely free of all
external constraints.
• Never press on the pusher for selecting HT-LT while the chime is operating.
• Never set the time or the second time zone while the chime is operating (do
not pull out the crown).
• Never push at the same time on the push-piece at 8 o’clock and 3 o’clock.
