Device Operation

•  The 

HDMI OUT

 port supports up to 4K @ 60 Hz, 12-bit, with HDR.

• 

If the source is 4K, and the output port is connected to a 1080p (not 4K-capable) display, then the output will be 

down-scaled as follows:

1080p @ 30 Hz

4K @ 60 Hz, 4:2:0

1080p @ 60 Hz, YUV/RGB 4:4:4

• 

HDR / Dolby Vision / HLG formats cannot be downscaled to 1080p.

•  The internal scaler will be bypassed if the connected display supports the resolution and timing information from 

the source device.

The following section provides important information about how the AT-HDR-SW-51 processes 4K (UHD) video 

signals.
