SECURITY MEASURES
When using an electrical appliance, there are certain precautions
that must be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury to persons, including the following:

Read the instructions carefully, even if you are very familiar with the
appliance.
• The appliance is intended to be used for the storage of wine. Use this
appliance only as described in this manual. Other non-recommended uses
may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• In accordance with IEC standards: This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• lectrical appliances are not toys. Always keep the device out of the reach
of children. Keep the mains cord out of the reach of children. Do not let
the mains cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop where the
appliance is placed.
• Children between the ages of 3 to 8 years are allowed to carry and
unload refrigeration equipment.
• To protect against the risk of electric shock,

unit, cord or plug in water or spray any other liquid.
• Unplug appliances from the wall socket when not in use, when
moving from one place to another and before cleaning.
• To disconnect the appliance, grasp the plug and pull it out of the wall
socket. Never pull on the cord.
