To access the

Quick access to single photo manage mode for Zooming, Rotating, or Deleting currently displayed photo.
Highlighted bars indicate the signal strength of the wireless cellular connection.

When highlighted, indicates the connection with your local Wi-Fi network is active.
Indicates the number of Photo Mails that are currently in the Photo Mail Inbox. The number is updated each time you
connect to the Photo Mail server.
