4.2.6.5- Switching the pH adjustment on and off
To switch off or start-up the pH control again stopping the acid pump, access the main menu, select “pH” in
the last line. In the pH menu select the bott om line. By pressing “OK”, it alternati vely passes from “pH ON” to
“pH OFF”.
When the pH control is off , the 3rd line of the screen displaying the parameters indicates “pH OFF”.
4.2.6.6- Priming the pump
Once the acid pump has been installed, it should be primed to eliminate the installati on air.
Go to the “pH” menu and select “Manual”. Keeping the “OK” butt on pressed, the pump will be running. Keep
the pump running with the “OK” butt on unti l the liquid has passed throughout the tube unti l injecti on.
4.2.6.7- Acid - Alkaline
Access the confi gurati on menu of the equipment to pass the pH control from acid to alkaline. To do this,
press “OK” in the main screen, in confi gurati on “S” press butt on ↓ unti l reaching the ACID line. ALKALI?
Press “OK” and the lett er “N” will appear with the arrow ↓Select “S” to remain in the ALKALI screen. ACID?
4.2.6.8- Automatic shutdown and error message
If the acid pump shuts down and the message “pH ERROR” appears, the pump has been operati ng too long
without the pH value lowering to the required level. The causes could be:
• There is no acid
• Problem in the pump or in the acid duct
• The probe or probe cable are damaged
NOTE: to eliminate the error, press the “OK” butt on
4.2.7- Relay
The SMARTCLORO PLUS PH series equipment have a programmable auxiliary relay that can be used to
control the fi ltering pump, swimming pool lighti ng and others features See pages 23 and 24 of this manual
for further details.
4.2.7.1- Start/Stop
This manually turns the relay on / off .

This allows one single programming a day from 0h to 23.59
