3.2.5.3- Stabilization of the probe
Aft er downti me or if it is connected for the fi rst ti me, the sensor requires
conditi oning ti me. Before calibrati ng the sensor, place it correctly in the sensor
holder, and let water containing free residual chlorine run through for 1 hour, in
order to correctly polarize the cell.
If the sensor has been working at 0, without a water fl ow, or
without water for 1 hour or more, you will have to wait for 60
minutes for the correct polarizati on of the sensor and to have a
correct reading
The sensor can be passivated if it has been working at over 3 ppm
for hours. In this case, the sensor should be cleaned in an HC10.
1M soluti on for 20 seconds. The sensor can then be prepared and
calibrated again.
3.2.6- Temperature probe kit (opcional for SMARTCLORO PLUS
PH equipment)
The temperature probe kit enables you to take a reading of the water
temperature. Once the probe has been connected, the temperature will be
displayed in the main screen.
By installing this kit, you will also be able to use the semi-automati c control mode.
More details on this mode can be found on page 72 of this manual.
