INITIAL SET switch
IMPORTANT:
• When the camera is initialized, the settings including the network settings will be initialized.
Before initializing the settings, it is recommended to write down the settings in advance.
Note that the preset position settings and the CRT key (SSL encryption key) used for the
HTTPS protocol will not be initialized.
• Do not turn off the power of the camera during the process of initialization. Otherwise, it may
fail to initialize and may cause malfunction.

Indicators and Switch
Use the INITIAL SET switch to reset the settings of the camera to the default.
Step 1
Turn off the power of the camera.
Step 2
Open the SD slot cover by following steps1 of
the “Insert an SD memory card” section (

page 26).
Step 3
Move the INITIAL SET switch to the right (ON).
• The factory default is OFF.
Step 4
Move the INITIAL SET switch to the right, and
then turn on the power of the camera. Turn on
the power of the camera and turn off (move it to
the left) the INITIAL SET switch about 15 seconds
later.
Step 5
Attach the SD slot cover to the original position
by following step 3 of the “Insert an SD memo-
ry card” section (

page 26).
IMPORTANT:
• If the INITIAL SET switch is still positioned
to the “ON” side, the camera cannot
enter the normal operation mode. Be sure
to return the INITIAL SET switch to the
“OFF” position.
