8P alarm cable
IMPORTANT:
• Install external devices so that they do not exceed the rating of the camera.
• When using the ALARM IN2 and/or 3 as the output terminals, ensure they do not cause sig-
nal collision with external signals.
Note:
• Off, input, and output of the ALARM IN2 and 3 can be switched by configuring the setting.
Refer to the Operating Instructions on the Panasonic support website for further information
about the ALARM IN2 and 3 settings (“Off”, “Alarm input”, “Alarm output” or “AUX output”).
Connect the 8P alarm cable (accessory) to the alarm input/output cable. Then, connect the exter-
nal device cable to the 8P alarm cable.

Note:
• The audio output can be switched to the monitor output. Refer to the Operating Instructions on
the Panasonic support website for descriptions of how to switch the output.
• The video output is set to NTSC in the default settings of the camera. If you want to change
the video output setting to PAL, refer to the Operating Instructions on the Panasonic support
website.
