2.5.4.5 Adjusting focus

Focus
You can adjust the focus by moving the focus to the desired position. You can adjust focus manually and
automatically.
[Focus]
The focus can be adjusted manually.
•
[Near]: Click this button to adjust the focus to the “Near” side.
•
[Reset]: Click this button to reset the focus to the default.
•
[Far]: Click this button to adjust the focus to the “Far” side.
[Auto focus area setting]
When performing auto focus, you can use this frame to specify the subject on the screen for which the focus
should be adjusted. Unless specified otherwise, adjusts the focus to the subject in the central area of the
screen.
•
[Display]: Displays the auto focus frame in the settings screen. In the default settings, the auto focus frame
is displayed in the central area of the screen. Drag the mouse on the image, and specify the area where
the focus should be adjusted. Once the setting is complete, click the [Register] button.
When the [Display] button is clicked, the [Reset] and [Register] buttons are displayed.

[Reset]: Resets the frame setting to its default. To register, click the [Register] button.
•
[Register]: Saves the set frame. Click to automatically adjust the focus on the subject in the specified area.
