Initial registration
Register the administrator ID and password, and the key for communication (

Page 30) with the PC software to be connected.
Important:
• In order to ensure security, set an ID, password, and key for communication that cannot easily be guessed by a third party.
• Take care not to forget the ID, password, and key for communication that has been set, and manage it appropriately away
from the eyes of a third party.
• Change the passwords periodically.
Note:
• The administrator ID, password, and the key for communication are numbers with a fixed length of 8 digits.
• When correcting the input of the numbers of the administrator ID, password, and the key for communication, press
to erase the number that was input.
• If a wrong setting (other than 8 numeric digits) is made and
is pressed, “Set 8 digits num” is displayed for a few
seconds, and the display returns to the previous input screen. Enter an 8-digit number.
• In each input screen, the display returns to the immediately previous screen when
or
is pressed.

The digits of the password that have been input are
displayed as asterisks “

The message “Passwd Re-enter” is displayed for a few
seconds, and the administrator password input screen is
displayed again.
