● When calculating the safety distance S, the following five cases must be considered.
First calculate using K = 2,000 (mm/sec.) in the above equation. Consider these three cases for
the result: 1) S < 100, 2) 100 ≤ S ≤ 500, and 3) S > 500. If the result of the calculation is 3) S >
500, calculate again using K = 1,600 (mm/sec.). Consider these two cases for the result: 4) S ≤
500 and 5) S > 500.

When the device is used in “PSDI Mode”, an appropriate safety distance S must be calculated.
