READY OUT: Trigger ready output
When TRIGGER IN (X6) becomes acceptable (the laser radiation becomes ready), this output turns ON.
To turn on READY OUT (Y6) the following conditions are required:
• No error has occurred
• Laser pumping has completed
• Internal shutter is open
• The file number switching process has completed
• When the file with the setting to use SEO command is selected, SEO command is transmitted by every
trigger input.
• When the serial communication control uses the command reception permission (MKM command), the
reception permission state is turned OFF.

• When Data compile mode is set to Precompiled in File option menu, the required time for turning on READY OUT (Y6)
after opening the shutter or changing the file is longer.

LASING OUT: Laser radiation output
Output ON during laser radiation.
If the lasing time is shorter than the specified one-shot output time, LASING OUT remains ON until the one-
shot output time ends.
Y8
LASING END OUT: Laser radiation completed output
Output ON when the lasing operation ended.
Even when the lasing operation is interrupted due to the alarm, LASING END OUT (Y8) turns ON.
This is One-shot output.

• LASING END OUT indicates that the laser welding machine has finished or interrupted the lasing operation. It does
not mean whether the lasing quality is normal or abnormal.

LASER STANDBY OUT: Laser pumping completion output
LASER STANDBY OUT turns ON for the duration from the completion of the laser pumping until turning OFF
the laser pumping.
The output turns ON approximately 15 seconds after the laser pumping started.

SHUTTER OPEN OUT
Output ON during internal shutter of the head opening.
There is a delay time of around 200ms to max. 1 second from turning ON/OFF of SHUTTER IN (X10) to
turning ON/OFF of SHUTTER OPEN OUT (Y10).

• To monitor the shutter operation for the safety control system, use SHUTTER CLOSE 1 OUT and SHUTTER CLOSE
2 OUT
(Shutter close output terminal No.2, 3). Refer to “4-5 Shutter Close Output” (P.108).
• SHUTTER OPEN OUT and SHUTTER CLOSE 1&2 OUT will be output by the same operation, but their output timing
has a margin of error.

POWER WARNING OUT
POWER WARNING OUT indicates the warning “E812” occurrence, which notifies the measured laser power
[W] is out of the threshold.
It turns OFF when the measured laser power [W] is out of the threshold and keeps OFF state until one-shot
output time is passed after the lasing operation.
Without the setting of the warning threshold of laser power, this output does not work.

• This warning is released automatically after the lasing operation.
• The power warning occurrence does not affect the ON/OFF state of WARNING OUT (Y12).
• For the power data output, refer to “6-1 Laser Power Monitoring Details” (P.127).
