Main Menu - Preset 
POS. Setup

Using the Remote Control 

 
1. 

Push the MAIN MENU button. 

2. 

Move to the PRESET Menu using the Up or 
Down button.  

3. 

Choose the PRESET Menu by using the 
Left or Right buttons. 

4. 

Move to the POS Setup menu using the Up 
or Down button. 

5. 

Choose the POS Setup menu using the Left 
or Right buttons. 

6. 

Choose the function to change using the Up 
or Down button. 

7. 

Adjust the setting of the function using the 
Left or Right buttons. 

8. 

Push the MAIN MENU button repeatedly 
until you return to normal viewing. 

 

Using the Front Panel Controls

 

 
1. 

Open the front door. 

2. 

Press the PRE. until the  POS.SETUP 
Menu is highlighted. 

3. 

Choose the POS.SETUP Menu by using 
the Volume Up (+) or Down (-) buttons. 

4. 

Choose the function to change using the 
PRE. button. 

5. 

Adjust the setting of the function using the 
Volume Up ( + ) or Down ( - ) buttons. 

6. 

Push the PRE. button repeatedly until you 
return to normal viewing. 

 
 

 

 

COLOUR SYS 

 

If a clear picture with correct colours cannot be obtained, a change to the Colour System may improve the 
picture. The Colour SYS is normally set to AUTO and generally does not need to be changed. 
Please refer to page 26. 
 

FINE TUNE 

 

In areas of poor reception or constant interference a slight adjustment to the tuning may improve the 
picture quality. 
Please refer to page 27. 
 

SKIP 

 

This option allows you to “SKIP” (bypass) the unused or undesired Programme Numbers. The Function is 
only applicable when the Programme Number Up or down buttons are pressed. The use of the remote 
control Direct Programme Number buttons overrides the Skip function. 
Please refer to page 27. 
 

AVL 

 

The AVL function is used to prevent sudden increases in volume such as explosions etc. in movies. You 
can adjust the volume to a level where you can hear whispers on the television and all other sounds are 
at the same volume level. This feature is very useful when watching late at night and you do not want to 
disturb anyone else in the house. 
Use the or Right buttons to switch the AVL On or Off. 
 

CH COLOUR SET 

 

Colour density can vary between broadcast channels. These variations can be compensated for by 
adjusting the CH COLOUR SET. You can adjust the colour density for each channel received. Use the 
Left or Right buttons to choose the best option from three settings.
