Connections

Basic format for control data

The transmission of control data from the computer

starts with a STX signal, followed by the command, the

parameters, and lastly an ETX signal in that order. If there

are no parameters, then the parameter signal does not

need to be sent.

•

If multiple commands are transmitted, be sure to wait

for the response for the first command to come from this

unit before sending the next command.

• Note that sending a command with ID=”00” does not

return a response.

•

For command transmission, be sure to wait at least 700

msec before sending a next command.

•

If an incorrect command is sent by mistake, this unit will

send an “ER401” command back to the computer.

•

Consult an Authorized Service Center for detail

instructions on command usage.

•

With the power off, this display responds to PON

command only.

•

When the serial ID function (P45) is ON, only

commands including the same display ID can be

operated. Add AD94, RAD=<XXX> to the head of the

format. For <XXX>, put a display ID of 001 to 100, or

000, or put a group ID of AAA (for A) to GGG (for G).

Use a 3.5 mm stereo mini plug to connect from the IR OUT of the First LCD Display to the IR IN of the Second LCD

Display. The IR signal from the First LCD Display will be sent to the Second LCD Display.
