Take care that wrong wiring will damage the product.
Do not short-circuit “0V” and “G” on the
S-LINK
terminal block connector side.

from this product, make sure not to exceed the allowable through current.
Do not apply solder, etc., on the tips of the wires to be connected to the terminal block.
This can cause loosening of the screws, resulting in wire disconnection.
5. SELECTION OF POWER SUPPLY
6. WHEN THE POWER IS INITIALLY ON
The current consumption of
SL-GU1-D
is 1.6A max.
The current consumption of the complete system is obtained by adding to this value the current
consumption of the
S-LINK
units (blocks), input devices (sensors, etc.) and output devices (lamps,
etc.). Select a DC power supply having a capacity which exceeds this total current consumption
value.
Further, the supply voltage is 24V±10%.
Note: A local power supply may be necessary depending on the current consumption of the connected
S-LINK
units and the I/O devices.
Error 4 (ER4) may occur when the power of
SL-GU1-D
is initially turned on. In this case, press
the system setting button to set the
S-LINK
address.
When the power of
SL-GU1-D
is initially turned on, check the
S-LINK
side output state setting
in upper network error condition. The lighting up state of decimal points on address display dif-
fers as described below.
Light off when all outputs are reset:
When upper network is in error state, all
S-LINK
outputs are set to OFF.
Light up when all outputs are maintained:
When upper network is in error state, all
S-LINK
outputs are maintained in the state where
just before the error occurred.
All outputs are reset
All outputs are maintained
Decimal points light up.
In order to change the
S-LINK
side output state setting when upper network is in error state,
turn the
S-LINK
controller on while pressing the system setting button. Then, in case “all out-
puts are reset”, the setting is changed to “all outputs are maintained”, and in case “all outputs
are maintained”, the setting is changed to “all outputs are reset”. Please note that the system
setting button should be kept pressing till the address display of “
” starts turning.
