Adjusting the subwoofer
You can adjust the surround sound levels.
Preparation
1. Press [+ VOL –] to adjust the volume to normal listening
level.
2. Select “TEST TONE” from “SPEAKER SETTINGS” in
“AUDIO” menu (
page 23).

You can adjust SW (Subwoofer) only if the disc includes a
subwoofer channel.
“SW” does not appear on the display and is not adjustable
when Dolby Pro Logic

is turned on.
“S” appears on the display when “MUSIC” or “MOVIE”
is selected with Super Surround or Surround Enhancer
(
page 28). In this case, you can adjust both surround
speaker levels using [

You can make the sound of the center speaker seem like it is
coming from within the television.

The “C.F” indicator lights up.

5-channel surround (Left and Right Front, Center, Left and
Right Surround) from any stereo program materials, whether or
not it has been specifically Dolby Surround encoded.
