Installation Instructions
●
Panasonic Corporation shall not be held responsible for any accidents, damage or injuries that may occur as
a result of failure to follow the Installation Instructions in the setup, trial operation or inspection of this appliance.
●
After the installation is completed, you must carry out trial operation and inspection before using it.
●
Do not use old water supply hose or drain hose in order to avoid water leakage.
●
The dishwasher was factory tested with water filled in. When unpacking, there may be residual water.
This is not abnormal.
●
Please enquire your local water supplies authority or water works professionals to check the water pressure
and flow rate of the tap water.
· The applicable inflow water pressure for this appliance is 0.05 MPa - 1 MPa
(When the water pressure is low, the operating time may be prolonged)
· Flow rate: When the water tap is open fully, the rate of inflow is required to reach 8 liters per minute or more
(When the flow rate is low, the operating time may be prolonged or abnormality may occur)
· When operating the water tap, be sure to install the specified pressure relief valve if the tap water pipe
generates abnormal sounds (water hammer phenomenon)
Connect the water supply hose and drain hose to the
dishwasher body

❶
Insert the water supply hose into the body as shown and tighten the nut.
(Keep the nut in a horizontal position to avoid water leakage)
❷
Insert the drain hose into the body as shown, and tighten the clamp.
(The clamp needs to catch the port of the drain hose and the connector of the body to avoid water leakage)
❸
Place the water supply hose and drain hose to the right or left, depending on the position of the water tap and drain pipe.

· The dishwasher should be installed in an open space.
(Make sure to leave a space clearance of a > 65 cm, b > 0.5 cm, c > 0.5 cm, d > 15 cm or more)
·
Place the dishwasher on a solid horizontal surface.
· The location should be exclusively equipped with a rated 10 A, AC 220 V single-phase, two-pole, earthed power socket.
Do not install the dishwasher
in the following places:
· Locations with direct
exposure to sunlight.
· Places where freezing may
occur in winter (below 0 °C)
(It may cause malfunction
or deformation.)
· On the carpet.
(It may block the bottom
vent.)

Please add a new water tap for connection. Be sure to install the supply pipe accessories
at the port of the transverse water tap.
● Install the supply hose connector to the water tap according to the installation instructions.
CAUTION
• Fasten A of the supply hose connector
(otherwise it may cause water leakage)
•
If the fixing screws are too tight, it may cause damage of gasket
and lead to water leakage.
Note
•
After installation, make sure the fixing screws are tight.
Note
❸
Connect the water supply hose
Please confirm the other end of the water
supply hose has been
connected to the joint of the dishwasher before conducting
the following operations:
1) Connect the water supply hose and supply hose connector.
2) Turn on the handle of the water tap after connecting the water
supply hose.
3)
Please confirm carefully whether there is water leakage at the water
tap and each connecting point after the installation is completed.
4) New hose-sets supplied with the appliance are to be used and
old hose-sets should not be reused.
To connect the water supply hose
❶
Loosen screws on the adapter and take down the adapter.
❷
Fix the supply hose connector, with the gasket, to the water tap.
●
Do not install the supply hose connector to the ports other than the port of the transverse water tap.
Important
■
Confirming the setup when the appliance is connecting with a water heater
●
To supply hot water, connect a front type water
heater which generates a hot water yield of at least
10 L per minute. Regardless of the hot water supply
capacity, do not connect a rear type water heater.
●
When using a water heater, set the temperature
of the supplied hot water below 60 °C.
(It may cause unsatisfactory cleaning results.)
●
For high temperature water heater (60 °C above) of
which the temperature of supplied hot water cannot
be set, connection is prohibited.
●
To re-connect a water heater, please contact the
Service Centre. (Especially in areas where water
pressure is high, be sure to install the specified
pressure relief valve at the water heater.)
