power failure, or while displaying an

error that starts with “H”, the door can

be opened using the following

instructions.

1

Turn off the power, and open the

drain filter cover. (P.31)

drain the water by removing the

3

Pull down the emergency door

unlock tab.

The door lock is released, and you

Buttons do not

work

 - Settings cannot be changed while an operation is in

progress. Only the spin speed, “Extra Rinse” and “Easy

Iron” settings can be changed when the wash process is

paused.

 - The Child Lock (

B

) may be activated. (P.28)

Door does not open

 - The door is locked while an operation is in progress.

(P.14)

 - The Child Lock (

B

A

) may be activated. (P.28)

 - The temperature inside the drum may be very high.

 - The water level may be too high.

To open the door immediately

(1) Switch the appliance off and then on again. (P.10)

(2) Select the “Cotton” programme.

(3) Select

O

in “Mode” (P.26), and start operation.

 - If you switch off the appliance or there is a power cut

while the door is locked, it remains locked until the power

is turned on again.

Unusual odour

 - Rubber parts may give off a smell when you first use the

appliance, but the smell will go away over time.

 - Run a wash at 60 °C to clean the drum. (P.30)

No water going into

the appliance

 - The tap may be turned off.

 - The water supply may be disrupted.

 - The water supply hose may be frozen. (P.29)

 - The water supply filter may be blocked. (P.29)

Water builds up

during a wash

 - This is normal. Water is automatically supplied if the

water level falls.

Water drains out

during a wash

 - If there is excess foam, water is drained out and fresh

water supplied to remove the foam. This is the foam

detection function.

 - Even if water is directly supplied to the drum, it may

drain away without building up.

Water supply stops

and water is

drained away

 - The water supply is automatically stopped if the water

volume in the drum reaches a certain level, and some

water may drain away. This feature is called the overflow

detection function.
