Wash the detergent drawer with water.
A build-up of detergent can develop
mould.

Pull out the detergent drawer.

Remove the softener cover.

Wash the detergent drawer with
water.

Replace the softener cover and
detergent drawer.
Use a soft cloth to wipe off any water or
dirt.

Wipe off any lint or foreign objects.

Appliance
Wipe with a cloth and mild kitchen
detergent.
Once a month, run the “Cotton”
programme at 60 °C without anything
inside the drum. This will reduce
bacteria and prevent odours.
NOTE
●
If you use a tub cleaning detergent
or bleach, put about 30 ml into the
detergent compartment of the
detergent drawer. (P.12)

If you use a scale remover, follow
the manufacturer’s instructions.

Remove lint from the drain filter once a
month. A build-up of lint can hamper
drainage.

Switch off and unplug the appliance.

Open the drain filter cover with a
flat-blade screwdriver, and remove
the cover.

Pull out the funnel, and place a
container to collect the drainage
water.

Turn the drain filter slowly to loosen
it so as not to discharge large
amounts of water at a time.

Pull the drain filter out.

Remove any lint and debris.
7
Turn the drain filter to tighten it until
it stops. (two rotations)
8
Attach the drain filter cover.

CAUTION
Do not remove the drain filter if
there is water inside the drum, such
as during operation. If you do, a
large volume of water (possibly
scalding water) will pour out.
