When taking pictures with Live View
only
• You can set [ISO LIMIT SET]. (P80)
• When setting to [AUTO], the ISO
sensitivity is automatically increased
between [ISO100] and [ISO400]
according to the brightness. (It can only
increase up to [ISO200] when [ISO LIMIT
SET] is set to [ISO200].)
• The ISO sensitivity automatically
increases up to [ISO800] if you select

The camera detects the movement of the
subject near the center of the screen and
then sets the optimal ISO sensitivity and
shutter speed according to the movement
and the brightness of the subject.
• Jitter is avoided when taking pictures
indoors of a moving subject by increasing
the ISO sensitivity and making the shutter
speed faster.
• Noise is avoided when taking pictures
indoors of a subject with no movement by
decreasing the ISO sensitivity.
• The shutter speed is not fixed when the
shutter button is pressed halfway. It is
continuously changing to match the
movement of the subject until the shutter
button is pressed fully. Confirm the actual
shutter speed on the information display
for the picture being played back.
• You can also use [FUNC] to set. (P91)
• If you select [
], digital zoom cannot be
used.
• Depending on the brightness and how fast
the subject is moving, jitter may not be
avoided even if [
] is selected.
