3 Service Navigation
3.1. Introduction
This service manual contains technical information, which allow service personnel’s to understand and service this model.
Please place orders using the parts list and not the drawing reference numbers.
If the circuit is changed or modified, the information will be followed by service manual to be controlled with original service manual.
3.2. Important Notice
3.2.1. Camera Body Unit
3.2.1.1. About Mount Box Block (Ref. 8)
1. This Service Manual does not contain the repair service information for "MOUNT BOX BLOCK"(Ref.8), because it requires
special facilities and equipment.
a. Schematic diagram, Block diagram and P.C.B. layout of "MOUNT BOX BLOCK".
b. Parts list for individual parts of "MOUNT BOX BLOCK"
2. If the "MOUNT BOX BLOCK" is confirmed as defective, exchange the "MOUNT BOX BLOCK" as supplied as service parts.
3. Before exchange the "MOUNT BOX BLOCK", the performances must be carefully checked ,by following the "7.Troubleshoot-
ing Guide" section of this service manual.

Important:
1. After replacing the MOUNT BOX BLOCK, the mount box data has to be stored to the unit.
For more details, consult the adjustment instruction which is available together with the Maintenance software at "software
download" on the "Support Information from NWBG/VDBG-AVC" web-site in "TSN system".
2. The full adjustment procedures must be performed after replacing the "MOUNT BOX BLOCK", otherwise picture quality can
not be meet with specification.
3.2.1.2. About Main PCB (Ref. 1)
1. This Service Manual does not contain the repair service information for "MAIN P.C.B."(Ref.1), because it requires special facil-
ities and equipment.
a. Schematic diagram, Block diagram and P.C.B. layout of "MAIN P.C.B.".
b. Parts list for individual parts of "MAIN P.C.B."
2. When a part replacement is required for repairing "MAIN P.C.B.", replace as an assembled parts. (MAIN P.C.B.)
3. The following category is recycle module part. please send it/them to Central Repair Center.

4. Before exchange the "MAIN P.C.B.", the performances must be carefully checked ,by following the "7.Troubleshooting Guide"
section of this service manual.
Important:
1. Before replacing the "MAIN P.C.B.", proceed the EEPROM data backup from the unit. After replacing the MAIN PCB, over-
write the EEPROM data with backup data from the unit. before proceeding the adjustment /inspection.
