Phonebook
The phonebook allows you to make calls
without having to dial manually. You can
add 50 names and phone numbers to
the phonebook.
Important:

KX-TG4382/KX-TG4392: If you add
entries on one handset, the entries
can be shared on another handset.
Only 1 person can access the
phonebook at a time.

Note:

Your service provider/telephone
company may charge you for a local
call if the number dialled has the area
code prefix included. If this is
unacceptable, dial only the 7-digit
local number. Do not dial the “0” prefix
or the area code.

Caller ID subscribers can use ringer
ID feature (page 28).
To store emergency numbers
Emergency numbers are numbers
stored in the phonebook that can be
dialled using the phonebook even when
dial lock is turned on (page 19).
To store a number as an emergency
number, add # at the beginning of the
name (see “Adding entries”, page 20).
Character table for entering names

located on the same dial key, first
