Special Features
To use Call Waiting Deluxe Service
You can choose from the options on the base unit and handset displays as
shown below.

When you hear a call-waiting tone
while talking, the second caller’s
information on the same line is displayed.

(CALL!WAIT)

Enter a displayed option number
(1 to 6) to select the desired option.

(Answer)
Answers the second call while keeping the first call on
hold.
Hold
Plays the pre-recorded hold message from the
telephone company for the second caller and the
second call is put on hold.
Annc
Plays the pre-recorded busy message from the
(Announcement) telephone company for the second caller (Ex. “We are
not available now”) and hangs up the second call.
Fwd
(Forward)
Forwards the second call to a voice mail service
provided by your telephone company, if applicable.
“
Forward
” does not work with the built-in voice mail
because this function is proprietary to a telephone
company’s voice mail service only.
Drop
Hangs up the current call and answers the waiting call.
Conf
Answers the second call and combines it with the first
(Conference)
call to make a conference call.
During a conference call,
you can choose either
“
Drop caller1
” or “
Drop caller2
” to hang up the
first or second call.
Return
Returns to the waiting caller, while keeping the current
call on hold.
