Status Display Program
The Status Display program alerts the user to any errors. It displays an error
message, identifies the problem area on the printer, and provides information
regarding corrective action.

For Windows 3.1 users:
When Windows 3.1 is started, the Panasonic Printer Status icon appears and
stays on the screen. This enables you to display the printer’s status at any
stage during operation.
The Panasonic Printer Status dialog box appears when:

A SCSI device error is found while using the printer driver.
This dialog box reduces to an icon when:

The printer recovers from an error situation
If you have selected the “When device error” option in the Start Up box of the
Setup for Status Display dialog box:

The Panasonic Printer Status icon does not appear when Windows 3.1 is
started

The Panasonic Printer Status dialog box disappears after recovering from an
error situation

The Setup for Status Display dialog box can be displayed by double clicking the
Status display setup icon. In this dialog box you can display the Start Up box by
clicking the Start Up tab.
