6.3.6 Using Count Only Mode (KV-S5078Y)
When using Count Only Mode, you can count the number of sheets in a document without scanning images
of the document. For details about operation panel, refer to "5 Operation Panel" (page 28).
If Count Only Mode Shortcut is enabled, press the menu button (
) for 1 second or more, and then follow
1.
Press the menu button (
).
2.
Use or of the cursor button to select "Maintenance".
3.
Press the OK button to complete your selection.
4.
Use or of the cursor button to select "Count Only Mode".
5.
Press the OK button to complete your selection.
6.
Set the document on the feed tray.
7.
Press the Start/Stop button (
).

The scanner begins feeding and counting the document sheets. The number of sheets will be
displayed on the LCD.
8.
Remove the document from the exit tray.

To count more documents, repeat steps 6 to 8.
9.
Press the Back button (
) to exit Count Only Mode.
Notice
•
If a paper jam or double feed error occurs, set the document on the feed tray again, and then repeat
the procedure from step 6.
Note
•
The imprinter is disabled in Count Only Mode.
