LCD
Selected jobs, error codes, notification messages, and the scanner status are displayed.
Menu button (
)

Displays the Menu screen (page 35). You can access the Function Setting screen (page 35), the
Counter screen (page 36), the Network Setting screen (page 37) and the Maintenance screen
(page 37) from the Menu screen.

The Menu button can be locked. (page 35)
•
If [Count Only Mode Shortcut] is enabled, [Count Only Mode] (page 59) can be used by holding the
Menu button (
) for 1 second or more.
Job button (
)
Displays the job mode screen of push scan. The available job modes are [USB], [Network PC], and
[Preset Scan], and the pre-selected mode is displayed (page 34).
Back button (
)
Returns the LCD to the previous screen.
Skip button (
)
•
If you press this button after a double feed or a dog-eared sheet is detected and scanning has been
paused, the sheet (or sheets) detected as a double feed or the dog-eared sheet will be scanned and
then ejected from the scanner. Scanning will continue after the sheet is scanned and ejected.
•
To lock the Menu button (
), press and hold the Skip button (
) for 3 seconds or more.
Error LED (Red)
Lights when an error occurs. For details, refer to "5.1 About LED" (page 31).
