Terms used in this document are explained below.
Term Definition
PLC
(Power Line Communication)
It uses a power line as a communication line, enabling wired
network communication without newly establishing a
communication cable.
A low speed PLC using a frequency of 450 kHz or less, and a
high-speed PLC using 2-30 MHz, etc. are also called PLC.
HD-PLC A Panasonic registered trademark (Japan No. 4926446) which is
a standard of CEPCA (CE - Powerline Communication Alliance)
organization and which is the centerpiece of the same
organization.
Master IEEE 1901 BM (Basic Service Set-Manager).
