2.3.2 RS-485 setting
RS-485 setting is done with the Setting Tool.
Please set the parameters of the PLC adaptor according to the RS - 485 equipment parameters.
The maximum number of units that can be connected is 31 units.
(1) Master / Slave switching
Please select Master and Slave.
(2) Communication speed
Please set the communication speed.
Settable communication speeds
300,600,1200,2400,4800,9600,19200,38400,57600,115200,230400,250000,460800,
921600 bps
* When the communication speed is 38400 bps or more, a wiring length of 1200 m is not
supported. Please check in the actual environment.
(3) Data bit
Please set the data bit size.
(4) Parity bit
Please set the parity bit.
(5) Stop bit
Set the stop bit length.
(6) Data format
Set the data format as binary code or ASCII code.
(7) RS-485 route setting
Set the IP address of the terminal to be used as RS - 485 for the master.
(Up to 31 terminals)
(8) Protocol setting
Please set the termination detection method.
