If “No Signal” is displayed, check that the current digital broadcast
channel is correctly broadcasting.
The following messages and displays appear to let you
know what operations are being performed and the
status of the unit.
When a new DVB channel is added this unit will be
informed automatically. Then the confirmation
message appears. If you select “Yes” on the display,
Auto-Setup starts (all channel settings and Favourites
are deleted and the timer recording programmes are
also cancelled.). However recordings on the HDD will
not be deleted.
Tips
The display/hide setting can be changed (

45).

The number of characters that can be entered depends on what
kind of things you name.

If you enter a long name, only part of it
is shown in the Top Menu after
finalisation (

69). When entering a
title name, the name that will appear in
the Top Menu can be previewed in “Top
Menu Preview” window.
You can give names to recorded titles, etc.
Also, you can search for desired programmes on
GUIDE Plus+ list by entering key words or the
programme name. (Free Word Search, Find Titles)
