Chapter 5 Operation — PLAY screen
PLAY screen
The Play screen is the screen for playing recorded videos.
You can select clips by turning the jog dial button.
Play the clip selected in the middle by pressing the jog dial button.
At the end of the clip, the display will return to the list display.
Playback is paused by pressing the jog dial button.
Fast-forward/fast-reverse at 4x speed by turning the jog dial button during playback. Fast-forward/fast-reverse at 16x speed by further turning the jog
dial button in the same direction.
Playback is stopped by pressing the control panel operation button ([REPAIR]) during playback.
[GRADING:ON] [GRADING:ON]: Applies grading process to playback video based on the grading information of the recording.
[GRADING:OFF]: Applies grading process to playback video based on the [COLOR] → [SDI SET] settings.
The grading process is applied only to video recording V-Log.
[DEL/FORMAT] Deletes the selected clip or formats the card.
[PROXY FTP] Selects the proxy clip to perform FTP transfer, and executes the transfer.
[PROPERTY] Displays the properties of the clip selected in the middle.
[REPAIR] Selects and repairs the target clip (file).
[SORT] Sets the conditions for displaying clips in a list.
The proxy clip recorded in the main slot or the sub slot cannot be played back.
Operation of the PLAY screen cannot be performed while the slot cover is opened.

When [MAIN COLOR] is set to anything other than [V-Log], or when [Grading SEL] is set to [SHADING], the grading process of the playback video is
not performed regardless of the setting.
Multiple clips can be played back continuously when [CONTINUOUS] is selected in [MENU]
→ [SYSTEM SETTINGS] → [PLAYBACK SETTING] →
[PLAYBACK MODE]. The playable clips from the clip currently selected by the jog dial are played back continuously in the order. The beginning of
playback is the playable clip at the top of the list, and the last is the playable clip at the bottom of the list.
The selection position will move to the clip at the stopped position when the playback is stopped and returned to list display.
When [PLAYBACK MODE] is set to [CONTINUOUS], clip can be selected/cleared instead of selecting the [GRADING] function.
When [SELECTED] is selected in the [SORT] function, only the selected clips are listed in the order selected, and are played back continuously in the
specified order.
