Note:
Purifier models PG2400 and PG11000 containing these materials
have an aluminized label affixed to the housing which states “WARNING:
Possible Burn Hazard, For Use With Substantially Oxygen-Free Process
Gases Only!”
• Do not puncture the housing (or remove plug from fill port, models
PG2400 and PG11000). Modification of the purifier assembly could
result in contact with chemicals that may cause severe burns to the
eyes and irritation of the skin (Reference Safety Data Sheets, SDS,
supplied with assembly).
• Hazardous gas should never be introduced into the purifier or
associated piping until a field leak test demonstrates the system is
ready for service (see step 12 of this installation procedure). Pall
Corporation assumes no liability for damage or injury resulting from
improper installation or operation of the Gaskleen
®
purifier assembly.
The user is ultimately responsible for equipment integrity and to
comply with any applicable safety standards.
