As an example, we will use PuTTY to Telnet into a Pakedge S24P8 switch on the network. First, we
navigate to the profile page.

Next, scroll down until you see the switch. Click on it.

Click Lava Tunnel.

Select Telnet as the service. Click
Submit
.

Once the tunnel is open, you will have a link. The number after the colon is the port number that
was opened for your tunnel. In this example, the port number is 23488.
6.
Copy the first part of the link, which is everything up until the colon.
7.
Open Putty. In the Host Name (or IP address) field, paste that part of the link.
