Reboot Controller
: If needed, you can reboot the controller.
Controller Firmware
: If you have a new firmware, you can upload the file and
then apply it manually to your controller.
Access Point Firmware
: This section checks your AP(s) for their firmware version
and allows you to update to the latest available firmware version. Under the
column, “Status” we have different symbols to indicate what action is needed.

Upload Firmware File
: Here is where you will upload any newer
firmware files that you wish to push to the access points.

Update AP Firmware
: After uploading the new firmware file, select the
AP(s) that will be receiving the firmware upgrade and click “
Update AP
Firmware
”.

Re-Scan
: after updating the firmware, you can do a re-scan to detect the
new firmware on the AP(s), to verify they are all on the correct version
now.
