CHAPTER 3: Replacing notebook components

Removing the battery

To remove the battery:

Turn the notebook over so the base is facing up.

Slide the battery release latch.

Remove the battery out of the notebook.

Note

The battery is highlighted with a yellow rectangle in the above
image. Follow local regulations for battery disposal.
